Hi, I’m Minjiba – welcome to my blog! You are probably here because you are interested in my recipes resources and ideas to inspire and re-invigorate your relationship with your food.
My Ethos
I’ve loved food for as long as I can remember, and believe that eating well is within our control. Inspired in equal parts by local ingredients, international cuisines, and the desire to derive the utmost enjoyment from every bite, my super clean approach to comfort cooking was born. I often blend ingredients and techniques from my Nigerian upbringing with ideas from around the world, exploring those joyful, reassuring similarities that connect us all through food.
Though I typically only wear neutrals, I express my love of excitement through the colours on my plate. My recipes are downright delicious and really easy to make. I share hacks and replacements where possible. As mum to two kids under five, a wife, a big sister, a daughter, a friend, an entrepreneur, and recipe developer, my priority is to create versatile, fuss-free, crowd-pleasing meals that are packed with comfort, nutrition and style.
What You’ll Find on this Blog
Because of the many hats I wear and overcoming my own personal health challenges, I am often cooking with dietary requirements in mind. Many of my recipes also work for Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan, Nut Free, Paleo or Whole 30 lifestyles. If you are dealing with similar and stuck for ideas, you are in the right place. I share recipes resources and ideas to inspire and re-invigorate your relationship with your food. There’s no such thing as FOMO in my world. There’s always a way to overcome whatever limitations you’re dealing with. Sweet or savoury, naughty or nice, cooking or baking, you’ll find it all here.
