Been thinking a lot about the themes we've all been discussing. One of the best things we can do for our country and to uplift our people is to make a conscious choice to put ourselves first. This means supporting local brands, deliberately, repeatedly. Here are our favourite honeys @nimahshoney #barisbees and @lamaxhoney. This morning, we had all three on our pancakes 😆 Happy Democracy Day!!! #democracyday #nigeria #honey #wildhoney #localbusinesses

Some thoughts over yam and egg... It has been a puzzling year and a very difficult week. What do you even say? A change is needed in the way systems are set up which encourage abuses of power and create biased thinking. It affects us all. It affects us all. It occured to me in a conversation with a friend, that even personally when you are working on yourself, it is painful to challenge, unlearn and grow; so how much more on a global, societal scale. It is going to be massively uncomfortable and that's okay. I hope that some of these changes stick in a meaningful way. I hope we all go inward to see what we can do to contribute to a more positive direction.

An oven baked jollof rice and chicken recipe made healthier by using brown rice, olive oil, no stock cubes and no frying. Don’t believe me?
My recipe for Oven-Baked Brown Rice Jollof is live on the @radianthealthmag site now (link in my bio). While it is baking, you can laugh or cry over election memes or pour a nice glass of 🍷.
