Marmalade Hot Wings is a sweet and sticky chicken recipe, great for people who don’t like to spend ages in the kitchen! This recipe was inspired by the homemade marmalade that my Aunty Julia makes and sends to her loved ones annually. It is some of the best orange marmalade you will ever taste in your life; but since you are not on her gift list (poor you!) you can make do with good quality marmalade from the supermarket. I like to make this for those ‘Netflix and Chill’ evenings.
Ingredients
1kg chicken wings
2 heaped tbsp orange marmalade
4 tbsp hot sauce
1 big pinch of salt
1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
Method
- Mix the marmalade, hot sauce, salt (and olive oil if using) together to make a marinade.
- Pour your marinade over the chicken wings and mix until evenly coated.
- Bake in the oven at 220*C for 25 – 30 minutes
- Serve and enjoy!
Tip: You can marinade the wings ahead of time and either freeze or store in a ziploc bag the fridge until you are ready to bake them.
